ALABAMA NEWS: Our Crimson Tide remains number 1 after a stinkin' nail biter Saturday night! Wow, what a game!

NATIONAL NEWS: Tomorrow is Election Day. All afternoon we'll see our fellow Americans arriving back at work with the 'I Voted' stickers stuck to their shirts. Do not forget to do your part. If we vote, we have the right to complain loudly for 4 more years if our candidate doesn't win... and if he does too!

WEATHER: Spann is calling for rain to move in tonight and temps will fall to the mid-40s. Personally I'm ready for the cold but apparently there are more folks NOT ready because it's only going to get warmer this week and top out at 70 on Sunday.

SPORTS: Wait, didn't we cover sports in the Alabama news section of my 6-pack? The Crimson Tide is number 1! ROOOOOOLLLL TIIIIIDE! In other news, could Cam Newton and the Carolina Panthers win over the Washington Redskins last Sunday mean that Romney will take over the White House? According to what is known as the 'Redskin Rule', if the Skins win their game the Sunday before Election Day, the current President wins the election and according to a story from NY Daily News, in the past 18 presidential elections, 17 have been predicted by a win/loss by the Redskins. Hmmm.

ENTERTAINMENT: 'The Voice" 3-night live event begins at 7pm tonight! Go #TeamBlake!!!

MUSIC: Spinning on my mp3 player right now is the new CD's from Shooter Jennings and Little Big Town; 2 completely different sounds but both great releases. I like Shooter's 'Family Man' for its haunting lyrics and rock edge and love 'Tornado' from LBT for the songwriting and perfect harmonies!
