Memorial Day Weekend, Birmingham Zoo and the CHITT-i-putt-ee

On our long weekend, we decided to take a trip to the Birmingham Zoo. Saturday's weather was perfect to be walking extremely long distances. I didn't realize the zoo was quite so large.We saw it all. The reptiles, primates, birds, and safari animals. There was also a Dinosaur exhibit with life size animatronic dinos placed ever so often on a path.

Near every dino was a plaque on a stand with a little information about the dinosaur. There were several I remember from school and Nick Jr. the T-Rex and all that. When Brody would ask, I would read the name and a little description. Then I came across the Citipati......You can't pronounce it either, right?

No worries. This one had a plaque too.

The plaque didn't help me much either.....I just called it the bird dino. Next.
