Massive Community Yard Sale Coming to Tuscaloosa, Alabama in July
Who doesn't love a yard sale? It’s a great way to find items at a great price and to find your next treasure.
Growing up, my mother would host yard sales all the time. She was such a pro at it. She even hosted our church's yearly yard sale.
I believe her yard sale powers transitioned to me. My first negotiations were held at a yard sale.

The Christ Baptist Church is hosting a Small Business Saturday and Community Yard Sale. It’s Saturday, July 17, 2021, from 10 am until 1 pm. You can find the church at 2610 Greensboro Avenue in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.
Pastor Ransey O’Daniel lets us know that we can expect a wide variety of items like "vintage dishes, costume jewelry, fishing rods, artwork, camping gear, furniture, Nike clothes, tools, and more."
Also, Pastor O'Daniel will be selling "Bar-B-Q hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and drinks for $5 per plate." The Community Yard Sale funds will be used to "promote Unity and Peace in all communities and for future networking purposes."
Small businesses boost our local economy by keeping money and employment close to home. Forbes noted that there had been an “unprecedented entrepreneurial explosion sparked by pandemic unemployment not seen since the depths of the Great Depression.” It’s true “Americans are betting on themselves and launching companies at a historic rate.”
Confirmed vendors are "Mama's Sweet Potato Pies, Beloved Body, Tiffany Treasured Trends, Shona Hintion, Linda Millhouse, Lady A's Champagne Bling, Graphics& Designs LLC, Precious Memories Customized Plaques, and others."
If you would like to become a vendor at the community yard sale, it’s not too late. One table is $25.00, and two tables are $45.00. To inquire about participating or have other questions, call Pastor Ransey O’Daniel 205-722-2279 or click here for The Christ Baptist Church website.
