Lana Del Rey Was Spotted Again in Alabama
From working at a restaurant in Florence, Alabama, to shopping at Dillard’s in Huntsville. Lana Del Rey has been seen all over the Yellow Hammer state. First of all, she's made her career on being relatable to her audience.
Del Ray, who was born Elizabeth Woolridge Grant on June 21, 1985, has built her career composing music about her life and pop culture. She was nominated for a Grammy Award in 2018.
She also sold her concert out last night at Huntsville’s Orion Amphitheater.
The Dillard’s sighting isn’t the first ‘pop-up appearance” for Lana Del Rey in Alabama.
Her most famous sighting this year was working at a Waffle House in Florence. She has also been seen in downtown Florence signing autographs for fans who approached her.
Lana Del Rey even mentions the state of Alabama in her song “Paris Texas.” the line says, “Then I went to see some friends of mine, down in Florence, Alabama.”
She's a New York native but sources indicate she now splits her time between her home in the Hollywood Hills and her beach home in Malibu.
Del Rey has experienced recent success with her song “Summertime Sadness,” which has been streamed over a billion times. Many of her other songs have been streamed over half a billion times as well.
