While Alabama fans wait a few more weeks until spring football gets underway the Crimson Tide faces a full week of athletic competition across several other sports. The winter season is wrapping up and the spring sports are in full swing so let's take a look at all the week ahead for Alabama athletics.

Men's Basketball - The Alabama Crimson Tide wrapped up the regular season with a victory over Georgia this past weekend and moved up to No. 6 in the latest AP Poll. The Tide wrapped up its first SEC regular season championship and will now turn its attention to the SEC Tournament. Alabama is set to open up action in Nashville on Friday at 11 a.m. CT against the winner of the Mississippi State and Kentucky.

Softball - Alabama started its season on a 19-game winning streak before falling to South Alabama on Sunday. Coach Patrick Murphy's team climbed all the way up to No. 2 in the nation prior to this weekend's defeat but will have to rebound quickly as the Tide opens up conference play this weekend. Alabama heads down to Auburn for a three-game series with the Tigers on Friday at 5 p.m. CT, Saturday at 4 p.m. CT and Sunday at 2 p.m. CT.

Baseball- The Crimson Tide baseball season is starting to gain steam as the tide are 10-2 through three weeks. Alabama has hovered around the mid twenties in the rankings and enter this week at No. 24 in the Baseball America Rankings. Alabama has a string of five home games this week beginning a midweek back-to-back on Tuesday at 6 p.m. CT vs. South Alabama and Wednesday at 6 p.m. CT vs Jacksonville State. The young team finishes the week at "The Joe" with a weekend series vs. Steton; first pitch is scheduled for Friday at 6 p.m. CT, Saturday at 2 p.m CT and Sunday at 1 p.m. CT.

 

Track and Field - Alabama will send 24 athletes to the NCAA Indoor Championships held in Fayetteville, Arkansas, 15 men and nine women qualified for the even this coming weekend. The events will be held Thursday through Saturday and will be the first time holding the event since 2019.

Men's Tennis - Alabama's men's tennis team will be in the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility hosting the University of Georgia and the University of Tennessee in conference play. So far on the season the Crimson Tide is 10-5, the Bulldogs are 6-4 and the Vols are 15-2. Alabama hosts Georgia on Friday at 6 p.m. CT and Tennessee on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT

Women's Tennis - Alabama's women's tennis team will be in the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility hosting Ole Miss ad Mississippi State this week. Alabama's ladies stand at 9-6 this season while the Rebels come in at 6-5 and the Bulldogs are 9-5. The Tide takes on Ole Miss Thursday at 1 p.m. CT and Mississippi State Saturday at 1 p.m. CT.

Soccer - Alabama's women's soccer team head's to Bossier City, Louisiana to take on Texas Tech in its spring season. Alabama has won all its spring games, amassing a 4-0 record while shutting out all its opponents. Texas Tech struggled in the fall season and has yet to play this spring. The game will take place Saturday at 2 p.m. CT.

Rowing -  The Crimson Tide Crew will take part in the Oak Ridge Invitational. The University of Louisville will host the event. Alabama will head to Oak Ridge, Tennessee for its second event of the spring season after beating Eastern Michigan on the Black Warrior River last weekend.
