If Summer Had A Taste, It Would Be A Cook Out Watermelon Milkshake

I know the unofficial kick-off to summer is Memorial Day weekend.  The official summer kicked off on Summer Solstice. But for me, summer doesn’t kick off until I have a watermelon milkshake from Cook Out.

If you have not had a Watermelon milkshake from Cook Out, be sure you try it soon because it is only available in July and August.  If summer had a taste, it would be a Watermelon Milkshake from Cook Out.  Seriously!

My cousin went crazy over the Banana Fudge Milkshake, my mother loved the Strawberry milkshake, and my Dad loved every milkshake they have to offer, but his favorite Chocolate Cherry.  When it’s not July or August, my picks are Oreo, Cappuccino, and Red Cherry. I was introduced to Cook Out when I lived in Greensboro, North Carolina.  I even broadcasted live when Cook Out opened its first “sit-in” restaurant in High Point, North Carolina, in 1996.

According to Cook Out, they now have restaurants all over, and they opened their “first store in Alabama in Tuscaloosa in 1996.”  Be sure you stop by and try out a Cook Out Tray along with a milkshake.  You can find them at 100 15th St East Tuscaloosa, AL 35401.
