The University of Alabama announced the kickoff time for next Saturday's home game against Southern Mississippi is (an abysmal) 11 a.m. I can't be the only one who is tired of day games, right?

How does LSU manage to schedule like over 50% of its schedule as night games? I realize the kick times are set by the SEC and are all about when a game can be televised, but come on. You can't tell me Alabama hasn't been carrying this conference for an entire decade. We should be able to set our own kickoff times at this point.

And you know what? I don't think I would be as mad about an 11 a.m. kick later in the fall, but when it's still 99 damn degrees outside, that's a HARD PASS from me. Why can't we make all the Yankee schools have early kicks? Problem solved.
