During the Madison and Shepherd show yesterday, Scott and I discussed a lawsuit involving a dispute over the cost of a drone.

One gentleman was suing another for the cost of a drone after it was swatted down by a property owner using a t-shirt who'd grown angry after the operator refused to stop filming his yard.

We discussed the legality of filming a private residence from a public street and how we would behave in a similar situation if a drone were to suddenly appear outside our studio window. Two hours later, one did.

Woods & Water Hunting Manager and Drone Operator Tyler Haynes stopped by the show with the DJI Phantom 3 drone. He was nice enough to allow Scott and myself to take a test flight. I was a little nervous about wrecking it at first but afterwards, I decided a DJI Phantom 3 drone would make a perfect gift for Father's Day (surprise, honey!)
