Have You Been a Victim of a Delivery Service in Tuscaloosa, AL?
We live in a convenience type of world and I love it. Food can be delivered right to the doorstep. You can do curb-side service for makeup. Log on and order a brand new car and it will appear in your driveway. I’m here for all of it.
Why do I love it? Simply put I can use the time I would spend grocery shopping and invest that into my hobbies. I’ve been a big fan of drive-up grocery service since 2015. It saves me so much time. I use my grocery cart on the website as my shopping list. I just add as I go.
Recently I started using a delivery service method for my groceries. It’s been interesting and my latest experience came with some drama.
I just need to know, have you ever been a victim of delivery service?
The newest victim is me.
I made my order like normal, selected the day and time, and went about my business. The day came for the order to arrive I got a message to say it was running behind. No worries, I was going to be home all day anyway.
Then came an email with unavailable items and substitutions. Cool, no problem.
Here comes the shocker of the delivery drama. An email that came several hours later to say my delivery was at my door was time-stamped before the notice came about being delayed. Come again?
The math ain’t mathing.
Then to insult my intelligence they sent a picture of my groceries at my door.
Do you see any groceries?
Many things could have gone wrong. Delivered to the wrong location, system error, a lost order, and the list goes on and on. However, the picture set me off, and then what sent me over the edge. Is that the app asked if I wanted to leave a tip.
