Carrie Fisher, Massive heart Attack..stable condition
Carrie Fisher is in stable condition after suffering a medical emergency aboard a flight Friday. Her brother, Todd Fisher, told The Associated Press that she was "out of emergency" and stabilized at a Los Angeles hospital Friday afternoon. He said he could not discuss any other details about what happened.
The actress was onboard a flight from London to Los Angeles when she went into cardiac arrest around 15 minutes before landing.
A crewmember appealed for any medical personnel onboard the flight to come forward, prompting an off-duty emergency medical technician (EMT) to offer his help. He headed into the first-class cabin, where Fisher had been seated, and performed CPR.
Paramedics were waiting to treat Fisher at Los Angeles International Airport and after the plane landed, she was rushed to a hospital. For more update listen to the Wild Bill Show at 5:30 and 6:30 on 95.3 The Bear!
