ALABAMA NEWS: Suspected Black Warrior Parkway Bridge jumper Justin Jay Rich, 24, turned himself in to investigators on Wednesday. Rich was held on a $1500 bond and charged with Disorderly Conduct and obstructing governmental operations, both misdemeanors.

NATIONAL NEWS: Some New York residents have begun dumpster diving outside a Key Food supermarket in search of food. The Lower East Side and East Village remains without power and under water.

SPORTS: Gary Danielson drew the ire of the Irish after saying Notre Dame was the last team of the four undefeated he’d place in the BCS Bowl Championship game. After Alabama, he’d vote Oregon, Kansas State and ‘only then, Notre Dame’.

ENTERTAINMENT: The judge presiding over the lawsuit filed by Sam Lufti against Britney Spears threw out Lufti’s case citing ‘no evidence’ that Spears or her family ever did anything wrong. Lufti was suing for breach of contract.
