Alabama Softball's Skylar Wallace has entered the transfer portal Tuesday afternoon  according to a tweet from Michael Casagrande of AL.com.

Wallace spent two seasons as a staple in the middle infield for the Crimson Tide, starting 90 games. Last season, the Woodstock, Georgia, native moved to shortstop after Claire Jenkins injured her ACL, sidelining her for the season.

In 22 games, the sophomore held the third-highest batting average (.387) on the team as well as the third-highest slugging percentage (.581). Wallace also held a .975 fielding percentage and committed just two errors at her new position.
