Drake may be winning in the music game but when it comes to sports, some people think he’s a jinx.

Fans of Alabama Crimson Tide football team are blaming Drizzy for the team’s 44-16 lost against Clemson last night (Jan. 7). People have pointed to the Scorpion artist's video of himself rocking a University of Alabama sweatshirt days before the team played in the College Football Playoff National Championship.

"All that resolution stuff is great. All that mental talk to yourself is great. But what you got to do on the 1st, you got to get up and actually do it," Drake said in the video.

Now, it looks like some Alabama football fans believe that the video, along with the UoA co-signing it with their tweet, gave the team “bad luck.” ESPN joined in on the Drake's curse posting four different images of when Drake jinxed a sports team or athlete.

For example, last year, Drake supported MMA Fighter Conor McGregor by waving the Irish flag before his fight against Floyd Mayweather. McGregor lost the fight.

There's no real proof that Drake's curse is real, but it has left people sounding off on social media.

One thing's for sure, Drake is not a jinx when it comes to streaming. The rap superstar's Scorpion project was the most popular album in 2018, according to Nielsen Music.
