Are You Ready For Spring Yet?

I snapped this pic yesterday as the temps started to rise a bit and the snow slowly began melting. Apparently, these little plants are ready for Spring! So am I. I am over the snow and cold. And, Spring 2014 will be life changing for our family....There are 49 days til the official first day of Spring on March 20th. Back up 3 days and we'll be celebrating St. Patty's Day.( March 17th).  Back up 7 more days and our brand new baby girl will be here!

Charlie Kathryn Shepherd is scheduled to arrive on March 10th, the day after Daylight Saving Time begins. Her room is ready, my wife Randi has been inundated with baby gifts from her cool friends and we think we are ready.

Our 4 year old Brody seems excited too. He says he will be "nice to Charlie". We'll see about that. Yesterday evening after we played in the melting snow for a little while, I captured this video of Randi's belly and little Charlie kicking up a storm. Looks like she is ready for Spring too!
