2015 Open Turkey Calling Championships July 11th at Woods & Water

Woods & Water will host the 2015 Alabama state & legends memorial open turkey calling championships on July 11th. Participants will be competing for a total of over $5,000 in cash and prizes.

The event is presented by the Alabama State Chapter & the Tuscaloosa Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation.

Eddie Salter, World & Alabama state turkey calling champion and host of Turkeyman TV will serve as emcee.

Registration for the State Championship divisions will be from 9:00am to 10:00am on the day of the event. The callers/judges meeting will take place immediately following the close of registration and competitions will begin at 10:30am. The awards presentation for the state championship divisions (poults, junior, hunter, state friction, and state senior) will take place immediately after the state divisions have ended.

Registration for the Senior Open, State Open Owling, State Open Gobbling, and Open Friction divisions will be from 9:00am to 1:30pm. The callers/judges meeting will take place immediately following the close of registration and competitions will begin at 2:00pm.
