I found a most interesting video on Youtube. Dan Collins from our sister station 'Kickin' Country 100.5 in Sioux Falls, SD put a Wal-Mart Ice Cream Sandwich to a melt test.

In a past life, I worked in the construction field. I've been all over the country- inside chemical plants and paper mills. I am (or was) an instrument fitter. On many occasions, I have used one of the circular numbered metal tags. We simply called them our "Brass".
