Over the weekend, my nephew Camden celebrated his birthday and since he's reached the age of  'Shut-Up and Give Me The Money', I took my son Zachary to buy his cousin a birthday card to hold the cash.

Several of the birthday greetings I picked out didn't appear to impress my son, including the one that played an armpit instrumental version of 'Happy Birthday', so he decided to strike out on his own. "I've got this, mom,' he said before randomly picking up cards, reading them, then placing them back in their slot.

I went to a different aisle to conduct my own shopping when he finally came around the corner a few minutes later, confident he'd finally found 'the one'.
