Alabama based singer/songwriter Megan McMillan stopped by the studio and becomes the next artist to be 'Live in the Bear's Den!'

Megan McMillan's sound is soulful, sassy, and undeniably country. Influenced by greats like Hank Williams Sr., Waylon Jennings, Jamey Johnson, Gretchen Wilson, and Merle Haggard, and drawing influence from rockers such as Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen, this Pinetucky, Alabama native marches to the beat of her own drum.

A other of two, McMillan, keeps her schedule full with family, touring and making her rounds on the songwriter festival circuits, and somehow found time to hit the studio to lay down the tracks that will make up her debut EP which will be released later this year.

She has been a regular at the monthly 'Tips for Tuscaloosa' songwriter's concert for a while and caught my attention in August when she performed a new song called 'Potter's Field.' I spoke with her after the show and expressed my need to have her come by the studio and perform the song live!

In its purest form, here's an exclusive in-studio acoustic performance of 'Potter's Field.'
