Wild Bill and Monk Go to the Red Carpet Premiere of ‘The Fight Within’ [VIDEO]

On Thursday, Cobb Hollywood 16 in Tuscaloosa rolled out the red carpet for a movie mixing faith and fights called 'The Fight Within.'

'The Fight Within' stars John Major Davis and Matt Leddo, two former football players and graduates of American Christian Academy in Tuscaloosa. During one year of spending time on the football field together, the two barely knew one another and rarely spoke. Now after months of training together for the film’s fight scenes, the two have become fast friends.

The film follows Logan Chandler (Davis), a rising star in the world of mixed martial arts. Logan leaves the ring when his gym-owner father dies while training him. He finds romance with a young woman of deep faith (Lelia Symington) and he seeks to overcome his troubled past and build a new life. Logan’s new faith is then tested when a local MMA professional (Leddo), whose only losing fight was to Logan, forces him back into the cage.

The movie will open to the general public on Friday, August 12th and will show at Cobb Hollywood 16 Theatre and IMAX.
