Who Will Be Steve’s New Co-host? RESULTS ARE IN

There's a new voice coming next week to The Steve Shannon Morning Show, now without Simone Eli.  Here's a list of potential candidates according to a new poll from WBBP.

The poll combines use of high quality information and recents Facebook and Mailbox posts.  The margin of error is between 4-100% just like the research of our recent Presidential election.  Here's are the RESULTS....

24%- John Ramey:  John is a staple in Tuscaloosa radio sales and is very good at playing a trumpet which we know Steve LOVES!

24%- Linda McNeil:  Linda has worked in many areas of radio and is a legend in Ttown.  Linda would bring a feisty attitude and male listeners would love her smooth voice.

23%- Dee Cee: Steve's "old hat" and proven success and track record too!  This is an obvious candidate for 2017.

19%- Lynn Brooks: WVUA TV host and wouldn't a job in Tuscaloosa radio compliment this new hire?  Lynn might have same problem as Simone by "being too pretty for radio."

19%- Louie Linguini: This guy is a Tuscaloosa legend and we think "Yeah Baby" would sound great over a Miranda Lambert song!

6%- Wild Bill: WB would be a great partner but he already has a show, not sure 953 wants to pair these 2 up.

6%- Monk:  Monk would be a great partner but he already has a show, not sure 953 wants to pair these 2 up.

6%- Meg Summers:  Meg has a wonderful voice or "pipes" as it's sometimes called in the radio industry by dudes trying to be cool.

6%- Lane Kiffin:  Kiffin was seen looking for property in Florida this week.

4%- Pee Wee:  Pee Wee is the 1st caller during every "Hey Coach" segment and rumors says Steve may give him the chance he's been waiting for????

3%- Jack Royer: WVUA TV host, known as youngest in Alabama that loves a daily grind.

Other votes for Julie Salters, Greg Thomas, Jimmy Adams, and Audio Bob's dog Diesel.
