West Alabama Works is hosting its annual WOW 2.0 event for seniors on April 10th from 9am until 1pm.

The event will be held on the campus of Shelton State Community College with seniors attending from Bibb, Tuscaloosa, Hale, Sumter, Fayette, and Perry.

WOW 2.0 is an effort to give graduating seniors a unique opportunity to meet representatives from 20 companies looking for employees.

The companies and their representatives will conduct on-site interviews with seniors, and possibly extend job offers to candidates.

Hiring is subject to final onboarding processes. Companies attending WOW 2.0 include the Alabama Department of Transportation, DCH Health Systems, Lear Corporation, Premier Service Company, and others.

This event is followed by Regional Signing Day on May 9th, celebrating seniors' decisions to pursue a career path after graduation.
