Website Allows You To Search a Cemetery for a Headstone

I've been dabbling into some ancestry research for the last couple days. I found a website that I never knew existed. It allows you do search a cemetery and in some cases, see a pic of the headstone. Kimberly Madison told me she has actually used the site before doing ancestry research herself.

It sounds strange to be looking for headstones but the information can lead to finding relatives you never knew. The site is appropriately called findagrave.com.

You have the option to search by cemetery name, state and county. You can also search by name and birth and death year. It seems the photos of the head stones are uploaded on a volunteer basis by users of the site. I was able to find some pics I was looking for but not others.

There's a section for looking up famous peoples graves too.
