Up-and-comers Waterloo Revival will soon be adding a new member to the group! Member George Birge announced via Instagram on Wednesday (Aug. 31) that he and his wife are expecting their first child in February 2017.

The adorable photo featured Birge’s wife Kara showing off her baby bump in a chic white maxi dress and fedora beaming at her husband, who is also clearly ecstatic.

"Feeling amazingly blessed right now, this kid is gonna have the best mom in the world!” Birge gushes in the caption.

Though finding out he was going to be a father was probably the most exciting news Birge has gotten this year, getting signed to a new label is probably a close second. Waterloo Revival officially joined Toby Keith’s Show Dog Nashville this summer after spending some time first at Big Machine.

“So proud to officially announce we have signed with Show Dog Nashville. Huge thank you to Toby Keith for believing in us, it’s about to be a HUGE YEAR and we wouldn’t be here without you,” the band wrote on their Facebook page at the time.

The guys recently released an EP called Front Row, which they say is a true representation of real life as well as the band’s versatility.

“We’re not a one-trick pony. We can write all types of different songs because we’ve lived all these situations,” Birge says. “The biggest thing for us was we wanted an EP that represented real life — the highs, the lows, the parties, the breakups, the love songs. We felt like those six songs best encapsulated that.”

Waterloo Revival have been performing stripped down versions of some of their songs in a new video series, including “I Could Get Used to This.” They’re currently on tour with Keith on his Interstates and Tailgates Tour.
