Washington Post Puts Faces to the Names of the Victims in Friday’s Paris Attacks
The Washington Post today put together a list of names, short bios and quotes from friends, family members and co-workers of those killed in Friday's Paris attacks.
Among those killed were an architect, many teachers, a member of the Paris roller derby team, a composer, computer software salesman, graphic designer, journalists, photographers, students, restaurant owners, mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, and more.
Today, I learned about Justine Moulin, 23, of France who had a passion for travel and planned to attend Skema Business School in Raleigh, N.C.
I also became familiar with Nick Alexander, 36, who was selling merchandise for the Eagles of Death Metal during the band's European tour and was killed at the Bataclan concert venue.
I read the short bio of Lola Salines, 28, a member of a Parisian roller-derby league called La Boucherie de Paris. Her team name was Josie Ozzbourne and wore number 109 on her sleeve when in uniform.
We know teachers, graphic designers, photographers, and mothers. Just like those who lost their lives on Friday. Please spend a few minutes looking through the profiles, learning about the lives and honoring their memory.
The memorial can be seen here.
