HBO’s Veep has flown right past its title character’s need for an official office, not to mention its original showrunner, and the boys of Silicon Valley are equally far from finished. Both series will return for new seasons in 2018, HBO confirms.

This year’s renewals will mark a fifth season for Mike Judge’s Silicon Valley, and an impressive seventh for Julia Louis-Dreyfus as the former Veep. Presumably, both shows will keep to their usual spring perches, rather than join Game of Thrones in the summer (or whenever the eighth and final season premieres).

Veep garnered a surge of attention with its current sixth season, especially as the show’s satirical slant on politics grew increasingly relevant to chaos of the current landscape. Silicon Valley, meanwhile, has begun development of a “new internet” plot that creator Mike Judge expects will carry through to the end of the series, currently eyed at a sixth season.

In the meantime, watch teasers for both new episodes of Silicon Valley and Veep this coming Sunday, and stay tuned for more on future seasons.
