The music world was shook to its core this morning with the news that multi-genre musician Prince had died at the age of 57.

His impact wasn't just felt by those who listen to funk, rock, pop or soul music, it was felt by the country music community as well.

His impact was felt here in Alabama as well as Tuscaloosa songstress Victoria Camp took to Instagram to give her take on Prince's 'Purple Rain.'

A video also surfaced of platinum songwriter and Northport resident Adam Hood giving the crowd at Cheatham Street Warehouse in San Marcos, TX his take on the classic song back in 2013.
