Tuscaloosa's Druid City Brewing Company (DCBC) is becoming as well known for their chalkboard artwork as they are for their beer.

When you enter their taproom, your eyes are automatically drawn to the massive chalkboard covering the back wall. Along with the beertender's name and a list of what brews are available, interesting chalk drawings are always a focal point of the board. In the past owls, spacemen, elephants, and more have greeted thirsty travelers eyes upon entering.

During football season, the drawings get a little more spirited. For example, in August of 2013, they stirred up quite buzz with a recreation of Michelangelo's 'The Creation of Adam' featuring Coach Saban and Coach Bryant.

The 2014 football season will be no different. Local artist and DCBC employee Sarah Lindsey has come through with another conversation starter. This time with a reworking of Botticelli's 'The Birth of Venus' but using Alabama's newest addition, offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin.

The DCBC taproom is open seven days a week for your viewing and drinking pleasure.
