Tide for Troops is a non-profit organization whose sole mission is to send care-packages to the military men and women who currently serve or those who have retired. Sometime before the early morning hours of October 29, someone broke in and damaged or took almost $10,000 worth of donated merchandise and memorabilia.

Tide for Troops Director and University of Alabama alum, Justin Crisler says normal operations at the Huntsville warehouse that once acted as command central for volunteers sorting, storing and shipping merchandise have shifted to focus on rebuilding. He hasn't spent a lot of time licking his wounds. He has other SEC schools in his cross hairs and he intends to unite them with their military fans.

Crisler and his volunteers pulled themselves up by their bootstraps and immediately went to work. A flurry of phone calls were made, asking for donations, reaching out to 'Bama's biggest personalities to help sell Tide for Troops t-shirts. His initial goal for rebuilding is $5,000 and to date, he's reached $1,275 of his goal.

What better way to celebrate Veteran's Day than by making sure the men and women serving our country have a Tide for Troop's t-shirt if they want one? What better way to honor the hard work Justin Crisler and his Tide for Troops volunteers than by helping make them whole again?

You can make a financial donation here or on your way to the game, stop by Innisfree on Saturday between 10am and 2pm and purchase a Tide for Troops t-shirt with 100% if the proceeds going to purchase more shirts. Come between 12pm and 1pm and you can see Tyrone Prothro.
