Sweet Boy Jake Is Looking For A Family To Love Him Forever

Each week 95.3 The Bear teams up with the Alabama Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ALSPCA) to try and find homes for dogs & cats in our area.

This week we're getting to know Jake! He's a 6-8 yr old guy surrendered to the local shelter because his family could no longer care for him.

He was in pretty pitiful condition when he came to the ALSPCA. His teeth were in terrible condition, he had kennel cough, and he just wasn't doing well in the shelter environment.

Since bringing Jake home, he's been neutered, had his teeth cleaned (he lost several), and he's finished a round of antibiotics for the upper respiratory infection. Jake is a really sweet boy, not a bit of trouble, keeps to himself, and he really likes to lay around for the most part!

He would make a great companion for someone that needs an easygoing, not-so-needy companion!
