Submerged Car Discovered At Oliver Lock And Dam

Keith Adcox

UPDATED 10:57 am

This morning while putting in at Oliver Lock and Dam, my brother Keith noticed what appeared to be a car with the air bag deployed submerged in the water.

Madison and Shepherd contacted Keith by phone and he said after he ‘poked the object with a stick’ and determined it was metal he notified Northport Police Department who indicated a call had come in the previous night from a woman claiming she’d lost her car.

NPD remains on the scene at this time and we’ll update you when more details are available.
