As long as I have lived in Tuscaloosa (1988) I have never seen any local businessman be this charitable.

I'm certain we have plenty of local business people who do wonderful charitable things for the people of West Alabama.

However, Steven Mezrano is one of the most generous people in Alabama.

Mezrano personally funds these holiday projects completely on his own.

I've also seen the impact this has on families in the region. People are genuinely moved by the gesture from Steven Mezrano and his staff.

Some are in tears as they say thank you.

Christmas is a special time of the year. The heart of Steven Mezrano is pretty big when it comes to giving.

Mezrano and his generosity will be on display once again this Friday in  Tuscaloosa.
