Veteran right-handed pitcher Lexi Kilfoyl, who entered the NCAA transfer portal in late May, has made her departure from Alabama softball official as she announced her commitment to Oklahoma State in a post via her own social media.

Along with photos in her new uniform, Kilfoyl's post on Twitter read, "Can't wait for this new journey with @CowgirlSB Go Pokes!"

She's the second ex-Alabama player to commit to the Cowgirls this week with standout freshman infielder Megan Bloodworth announcing her commitment to Stillwater, OK on Wednesday.

Despite missing significant time in 2022 due to an injury that needed surgery in June, Kilfoyl proved to still be a deadly pitching and hitting combo behind one of the nation's best in the circle in Montana Fouts.

The Florida native was 9-3 across her 18 appearances and 13 starts in this past season. She was hitting .308 in the box across her limited 13 at bats before an injury sidelined her for most of the year.

When she was at full strength for the 2021 season that featured a Women's College World Series appearance for the Tide, Kilfoyl (1.62 ERA) nearly tied Montana Fouts (1.61) for the team's lowest earned run average.

Kilfoyl was 13-4 across the 16 starts she saw in 2021, totaling 131 strikeouts through her 104.0 innings pitched.

With the shortened 2020 season not counting against anyone's NCAA eligibility, Oklahoma State will have two years with its new dual-threat right-handed pitcher.

Senior catcher Abby Doerr is the sixth and final name in the NCAA transfer portal awaiting a new home after leaving the Tide program.
