Saving A Hero Benefiting Staff Sgt. Shawn Franks

Last week, we told you about one of our Hometown Heroes, Staff Sgt. Shawn Franks whose doctors had found a malignant tumor on his brain. As soon as he's recovered from surgery, he'll begin an aggressive chemo and radiation plan. Yesterday, we received an update from Shawn in the hospital.

The Gofundme donation page set up to assist his family with medical expenses had reached $8,075 of their $10,000, but thanks to the efforts of No Limits Kustoms and Dickey's Barbecue Pit in Midtown, that goal should be met and surpassed.
