AJ McCarron is back in Tuscaloosa, sort of.  A new sushi restaurant called Ajian, co-owned by the former Alabama quarterback, will open today at 1914 University Blvd downtown.  The name is a play on McCarron's name and the Asian food concept of the restaurant.

Visiting Ajian will put a whole new spin on "Roll Tide", as guests build their own sushi rolls from a choice of 12 proteins, 8 vegetables and fruites, 7 sauces and 8 toppings.  They will also feature about 9 sushi rolls including the California roll, the Boston roll  and the Philadelphia roll.  One sushi roll cut into eight pieces costs between $7 and $8, depending on the protein.
