There's a new fraud making it's rounds that allows crooks to convert a $10 bill into a $50 bill.

I'm not sure how the deception is actually achieved, but through some criminal sorcery, ink can be used to change the denomination amount on each of the four corners. A wet cloth reveals how easy the newly-applied ink is to remove.

If you know which presidents appear on which note, and you actually take the time to look at the picture each time you use cash, you should be okay.

But if you're like most people rushing from one errand to the next (or like myself and can't remember who belongs on what bill), you may not catch it.
