Keith Urban has officially been named the 2019 ACM Entertainer of the Year -- the ACM Awards' highest honor! He received the trophy at Sunday night's (April 7) star-studded show in Las Vegas, Nev. Before the big news was officially announced, presenters Brooks & Dunn teamed with show host Reba McEntire onstage to unveil the awards show's highest honor. The superstar duo began to open the envelope, but McEntire had other plans.

"Aaaaah, I got this," she joked, wedging between Brooks & Dunn as she stood up to the podium to make the big announcement. "Who made you the boss of us?!" the duo said in response. "Me," McEntire retorted.

After McEntire called Urban's name, the country superstar was all smiles as he made his way to the podium. "I'm gonna run out of time..." he said at the top of his speech. "Thank you to every one of the fans out there. You are amazing. You have no idea how much you mean to me."

Urban also took time to thank his wife, Nicole Kidman, who watched breathlessly from the audience, as well as their children. Urban concluded his speech with a big hug for McEntire.

Urban brought down the house around the world in 2018 with his Graffiti U Tour, following the release of his album by the same name. The project featured collaborations with both established country stars and some fresh faces. In addition to this victory, Urban is the reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year -- his second win in the category and his first in more than a decade.
