Tennessee native Justin Timberlake has signed on as a partner and producer of the upcoming 2016 Pilgrimage Music & Culture Festival, which takes place in Franklin, Tenn., in September.

"I couldn't be more excited about becoming part of the Pilgrimage Music & Culture Festival," Timberlake admits in a press release. "Being a Tennessee native and now a member of the community in Franklin, I have been watching the development of the festival over the past two years. For me, this is an amazing opportunity to help build an exceptional event and contribute to my community."

The second-annual festival includes several country artists on the bill, like Jason Isbell, Kacey Musgraves, Brothers Osborne, Lori McKenna and Margo Price, as well as Beck, Hall & Oats, Grace Potter and more.

In addition to serving as partner and producer of the festival, Timberlake will also bring on a creative director. Franklin resident and a friend of Timberlake's, Trace Ayala, will assist in creative needs for the event.

The Pilgrimage Festival will be held over two days on Sept. 24 and Sept. 25 at the Park at Harlinsdale Farm in Franklin, Tenn. It features four stages of music from local, regional and national artists as well as food, crafted beverages, handmade goods and more. Single-day tickets are $69. This isn't the first time Timberlake has gotten involved in the local community. Earlier this year, he posted a photo of himself in the studio with Little Big Town and last year he and Chris Stapleton shared the stage at the CMA Awards for a much talked about performance of Stapleton's "Tennessee Whiskey" and Timberlake's first country hit, "Drink You Away."
