Is There Anything More Precious Than a Baby’s Laugh?

It's the little things in life we sometimes take for granted. My one year old laughing hysterically at me made me happy yesterday afternnon and a little sad at the same time....

My family was out of town this weekend. I was home alone. The peace and quit was nice for about 15 min. Then I started missing everyone. They made it back home Sunday afternoon. I was glad to see them as the noise entered the house in full force. I was cooking supper on the grill outside. We put Charlie in her high chair close to the glass door so she could watch (and to keep possible mosquito bites away).

I found her funny bone when I pretended to trip up the steps. Her laugh made me happy. Then a little sad . We should enjoy these little moments more often. As Darius Rucker's song says "It Won't be Like This for Long". They grow up so fast.
