Memorial Day weekend is just days away, and the chance of the Gulf Coast's being impacted by a tropical storm is looking increasingly likely.

The latest outlook from the National Weather Service's Hurricane Prediction center states that there is an 80% chance that the storm that's currently being tracked will be upgraded to either a tropical depression or a tropical storm.

As you can see in the graphics above, there is an extreme threat of flooding with this storm. Places on the Gulf Coast could see between six and twelve inches of rain, which means flooding will be a major concern.
