Get to Know the Newest Members of ‘The Steve Shannon Morning Show’

The Steve Shannon Morning Show continues to get better and better--and now we've added some fresh new faces to our crew! This is your chance to get to know our new interns Lena and Michael!

We're super psyched--and so lucky--to have these two talented college kids on our team. I've known Lena for a while, and I just met Michael this week; I can already tell they're going to be an awesome addition to The Steve Shannon Morning Show cast. I had each of our new interns fill out a little questionnaire so that y'all would have a chance to learn more about these up-and-coming radio stars. Take a look at their answers below.

Intern Michael Jordan (yes--that's his real name!) joined the team after he met Audio Bob at the dog park. He's starting his second week with us tomorrow, and we're thrilled to have him on our team!

1. What's your major? Telecommunications & Film
2. Where are you from? Birmingham, Alabama
3. What's a weird fact about yourself? I'm infatuated with elephants.
4. What's your favorite Tuscaloosa restaurant? DePalma's
5. How do you like to spend your free time? Working out in the gym & cooking!
6. Do you have any phobias? Not as of now
7. How do you get ready for the show each morning? I drink a cup of cappuccino!
8. What do you love the most about being part of The Steve Shannon Morning Show? Working alongside a talented group of individuals who are dedicated to their jobs and who are allowing me to learn the ropes of the radio industry!
9. What's something our listeners need to know about you? I'm a people person and love getting to know people, and most importantly, I hope to be an inspiration to the many listeners tuned in to your show!

Intern Lena is the little sister of the one and only Tommy Paradise, so she's a natural fit with the 95.3 The Bear family. Lena's also a member of the Million Dollar Band--you can see her with the Color Guard and now, with The Steve Shannon Morning Show!

3. What's a weird fact about yourself? I have toe thumbs! My thumbs look like toes.

5. How do you like to spend your free time? Reading a book to help take a nap and hanging out with friends
6. Do you have any phobias? Please don't touch me with your feet! That's really about it. ;)
7. How do you get ready for the show each morning? Still working on my morning routine...
8. What do you love the most about being part of The Steve Shannon Morning Show? I love working with everyone! It's a great way to start my morning with a laugh and a smile. :) I get to learn what I am hopefully going to do for the rest of my life from the best.
9. What's something our listeners need to know about you? I love to smile and laugh! I hope they love the show as much as I love working with everyone!
