If you were one of the unfortunate ones to download Apple's latest iOS update and you're experiencing technical difficulties, I've got some good news and bad news.

The bad news is Apple has stopped signing iOS 8.4 which means if you downloaded and installed the crappy iOS 8.4.1 you can no longer revert to the previous update.

The good news is some reports indicate iOS9 could be released as early as September 9, 2015  and as late as September 16th. Neither have been confirmed by Apple. I honestly don't know how I'm going to hold on.

Some of the main issues I've experienced are severe battery drainage, random shut offs and irregular battery percentage where the screen will indicate 74% battery life before changing to 45%. I attempted each of the suggested fixes but none worked for me and the situation only seems to be getting worse.

If you've managed to find a successful solution to your iOS 8.4.1 battery drain, feel free to offer suggestions in the comments.
