Somehow today on Madison and Shepherd, We wound up watching clips from an old Christopher Lambert movie. It was one of my favorites as a kid. Do you remember it?

Greystoke came out in 1984. It follows the story of Tarzan pretty close. The Family dies in the Jungle and a boy is raised by apes. Tarzan meets and falls in love with Jane and all that.

Watching the trailer, I am still impressed at the special effects. Certainly no one would let a real ape hold a baby...or maybe the baby was fake...who knows. It was a great movie and now I'll be forced to find it to rent or buy somewhere. Check out the original trailer I found on YouTube:
