Cassadee Pope Wins ‘The Voice’

Team Blake member, Cassadee Pope, took top honors tonight and the title of 'The Voice' on the star studded finale of season three!

With fellow contestants Nicholas David and Terry McDermont rounding out the top three, pop rocker Cassadee Pope earned her way to victory. Weeks upon weeks of constant singing, challenging vocals, and new directions musically all paid off tonight for each contestant as they are all winners.

The finale pitted the two person army of Team Blake against Team Ceelo with one. Nicholas David held his own and proved to be one of the most unique talents in the world of music. His vocal originality is a welcome addition to this modern day world of music.

Team Blake member and runner up Terry McDermont warmed our hearts with not only his Scottish charm but also his powerhouse vocals! Every time, every vocal, this cat was on pitch and in the moment. Delivering night after night of amazing performances, my favorite from Terry is without a doubt his version of Mister Mister's "Broken Wings".

Cassadee Pope. Cassadee Pope. Cassadee Pope. She could stand toe-to-toe on stage with Coach Christina Agulera, sing a sultry country duet with Blake Shelton or take to the stage next to Adam Levine's band Maroon 5. Cassadee is versatile. This season she has taken on songs from artists like Kelly Clarkson, Keith Urban, Maroon 5, Faith Hill, Gavin DeGraw, Miranda Lambert, and has shined brilliantly on each one. She's brought her "A-game" week after week and that heard work has paid off.

I have been a Cassadee fan from the day she picked Blake to be her coach. I am still a fan but would also proudly support and by records from Terry McDermont and Nicholas David!

Season 2 has been truly amazing and I can't wait till the next season which begins in March. I will miss Xtina's charm and Ceelo's glow but proudly welcome the addition of Usher and Shakira to the mix.
