Our friend Angel Eaton has been fighting cancer for most of her young life and unfortunately is nearing the end of her battle.

We've followed Angel's story since she and I first met in August of 2014. We helped to get her featured in the 'Bold, Bald and Beautiful' calendar, a portion of the proceeds from the first Bacon & Brewfest went to help with her medical bills, we partied with her as she celebrated being cancer free, and then again helped to get the word out about her magical event to help kids like her forget about cancer for a while.

I'm heartbroken as I write this to say that our friend is fighting a monster she's not going to be able to beat. I recall the first conversation she and I had. We were at a car show benefit at Dickey's in Northport and she asked me if I knew Florida Georgia Line. I told her I did not. She said something like, "I love them" and since then I've pulled all the strings I can to see if Tyler and Brian could call and talk with Angel and maybe give her a little hope in her darkest days.

My heart is breaking for my young friend and as I type this blog my thoughts aren't exactly clear about what I'm trying to accomplish.

Maybe we can share this on social media and maybe it gets seen by Florida-Georgia Line? Do you know the cousin of their drum-tech's sister and could maybe shoot them a text? Think about how awesome it would be if her mom woke her up one day and said, "Someone special wants to talk to you!"

Please do what you can to help us get Florida Georgia Line to call Angel. I'll even give you my direct line to my desk, 205.247.4797. Let's do this for Angel!
