Brody Loses His First Tooth

The tooth fairy paid our house a visit last night. My 6 year old Brody lost his first tooth yesterday. It was a pretty big deal to him. Do you remember losing your first tooth?

Brody was wiggling his loose tooth as we were headed to Yogurt Mountain. He pulled it himself! Apparently he thinks this is a sign of 'growing up'. He said " I can't believe this is happening!". Other kids in his class have lost teeth already and I guess he felt left out.

I remember losing my first tooth. I was in Kindergarten. Our teacher's aid, Miss Cotton, pulled my tooth for me. She was a sweet, sweet lady. I remember she put my tooth in a 'baggie' and sent it home in my backpack. I think I got a quarter for it from the tooth fairy.

What's the going rate for baby teeth these days? The tooth fairy left Brody a couple dollars. Inflation I guess.
