Blind Football Player Goes To Tulane University
17-year old Aaron Golub will graduate from Newton South High before moving on to Tulane University to attend classes and play football. Aaron may appear the quintessential symbol of an All-American boy, but that would be selling him short.
He’s much, much more.
Aaron is legally blind and he’s also the best long-snapper his coach has ever seen at a high school level. Coach Ted Dalicandro said his accuracy is amazing with Golub only missing once in the two years he’s played.
While others watch with amazement, Aaron says he’s able to accomplish amazing things because he wants to. ‘If you set your mind to it, you can do it.’
