Black Warrior River Fiddle Fest This Weekend in Tuscaloosa
The Community Foundation of West Alabama is proud to present the Black Warrior River Fiddle Fest today and tomorrow in Government Plaza.
Very few instruments are as recognizable as the smooth, high whine of a fiddle. The Black Warrior River Fiddle Fest is built from a history of competition fiddling in West Alabama. Over the weekend, there will be a grand total of $7500 in prizes for the top 5 places in each of 14 divisions.
The public is invited to come out and enjoy Arts/Crafts and many family friendly activities to complement a day of great music!
Here is a list we came up with of 5 country songs that predominantly feature the fiddle. You may want to download a few to get yourself pumped up for tomorrow!
