Tuscaloosa's biggest and tastiest beer festival will celebrate its 5th anniversary this year and the party will take place at the River Market.

Townsquare Media revealed this week that Bacon Brew & Que presented by New Belgium and Fat Tire will return to the beautiful location along the Black Warrior River on August 25. This marks the first time the event has been held at the same location for consecutive years, and the 2018 festival will utilize the space outside the venue by setting up tents in the parking lot and along the Riverwalk.

Much like the past four years, the event features beers from some of the best craft breweries around Alabama and the country paired with bacon and barbecue dishes created by local Tuscaloosa restaurants. For one price, people can sample all of the food and beer for up to four hours.

This year the gates will open at 3PM with the first 90 minutes being open for VIP ticket holders. General admission will begin at 4:30PM and sampling will last until 7PM. This year is expected to be bigger and better than the first four as it celebrates its 5th anniversary.

There will be three different ticket options (VIP, general admission, and designated driver) once again. Prices and online purchasing will be announced soon.

More details, including a beer list, restaurant list, and live music schedule will also be released soon. In the meantime, check out BaconBrewAndQue.com to learn more about past events and bookmark the page to stay updated on this year's festival.
