Authorities Looking for Man Accused of Sexual Assault at Snow Hinton Park

Tuscaloosa Police are looking for a man accused of sexually assaulting one woman and attempting to sexually assault another at Snow Hinton Park on Saturday night.

The first assault happened around 7:30 when a 41-year-old victim was walking the track around the park. The assailant approached her from behind with a gun and demanded sex but fled in an SUV when the victim said she had a disease.

Around 8:30 that night, a 17-year-old victim was taken into the bathroom and sexually assaulted by a male who said he had a gun. The suspect then took the young woman behind the bathroom, sexually assaulted her again, then walked her to her car and stole $10. He then fled in a dark colored 4 door car.

The suspect is described as young black male in his late teens or early twenties. He was wearing a dark colored shirt, jeans and tennis shoes.
