The Nike Factory Store opened its first Tuscaloosa location Thursday morning with some help for former Crimson Tide star Amari Cooper.

The store held its ribbon-cutting ceremony at Midtown Village and invited the NFL's fourth overall draft pick to usher in the grand opening.

The doors opened at 10AM but a line started forming early Thursday. By the time they began letting customers enter, a deep line of a couple hundred people had former along the building.

Inside, a DJ was spinning music, the shelves were stocked with Nike gear, and Alabama graphics covered the display window. The University of Alabama has a big presence in the new store because this is the first Nike factory store in the heart of a college town.

Customers can expect to see a wide selection of running, training, and sportswear products along with some Alabama apparel. The store will also offer Nike.com assist, which allows you to purchase items online with your in-store items and receive free shipping.
